Rob: Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Dual View Universal Towing Mirror on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. Now having a towing mirror on top of your factory mirror is really nice whenever you're towing a trailer. Because let's face it, we can usually see the trailer behind us, but when we want to change lanes, most of us end up sticking our head out of the window, which isn't really a good practice because we need to keep our eyes on the road. An extended towing mirror is going to give us a wider field of view and just make it a lot easier and safer for us to get down the road.Here you can see me at the back of my trailer that we have hooked up to our Pathfinder. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder.Now, a towing mirror's going to give you that extra field of view, so whenever you're towing a trailer, you can make sure that you're able to see next to you, behind you, and safely get down the road because, typically when we're towing a trailer, you can see the back of the trailer, but if you need to change lanes, it's hard to see that far back and that far to the side, so we end up sticking our head out the window, which really isn't a safe practice.So, here you can see me, I'm at the back of our trailer we have hooked up to our Pathfinder. But again, the problem isn't when we're driving completely straight, it may be that we need to change lanes. So, when I step away, you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror.But, the way we have our towing mirror set up, you're going to see me right away in the towing mirror when I move out of sight in the factory mirror. That way we can change lanes, maybe pull up to the campgrounds, back our trailer up, or whatever we need to do, and it's just a lot easier, and safer, and prevents us from sticking our head out the window, and taking our eyes off the road.And, it does have a ball and socket on the back, so it's fully adjustable. We can turn it a full 360 degrees. more

Today, on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror. This comes in a quantity of one under part number 7070, or a quantity of two under part number 7070-2.When towing, you have limited visibility with your factory mirror. As I make my way outside, I become visible in the clip-on mirror. This is very useful for when you're driving down the road and you need to pass or get in another lane.Right now we have our mirror in the vertical position. However, if we so choose, we can go ahead and just turn it to the horizontal position, if that's what you prefer. You're also gonna see that you have maximum pivot points, to adjust the mirror to the exact location you need it.As you can see, there is still space between the teeth of our clip-on mirror, and the mirror on our factory housing, so that won't impede on the functions of our factory mirror. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Cipa Universal Dual View Towing Mirror, part number 11953. This is the normal view you will see once you're driving in your truck. Now, once you have the universal towing mirror added, we have a much greater field of view in one mirror and even greater in the third.Both mirrors have adjustability up, down, left and right as needed, to adjust to whatever needs you may have. And with it attached, you can fold it into the sides of the vehicle as well.How these install, it's very easy. These portions here fit on the inside of the mirror, just slide it around those, and then we'll bring our straps around and hook them up to the other side. Now if you are having difficulty with the fit, you can loosen up these knobs here to extend it out, or in as needed.And there you have it for the Cipa Universal Dual View Towing Mirror, part number 11953 on our 2018 Nissan Frontier.. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Murano we'll be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, K Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. Here at the back of our trailer, we have clear visibility in our factory mirror, but if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever trying to pass vehicles on the highway, or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. It's going to secure using the four tabs, and two straps to the back. Our straps are going to have a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions, and ratchet down to give us a nice, secure fit. With our K Source mirror installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. more

We can also lengthen our field of view to the side if we undo our nut, here at the top, and widen our field of view even more. You always want to make sure that you do tighten down your nut, once you get it into your desired position. Our mirror's secured with two tabs that fit into our housing. We're going to have rubber padding on the clamps that secure to our mirror. We would just loosen and tighten it using the turn knobs at the top. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2017 Nissan Rouge, we'll be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number: KS3891. Here we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer and we have our towing mirror installed. In our factory mirror, we have clear visibility to the back of our trailer; though, if I step out to the side just a bit, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're passing vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. The four plastic tabs at the front, as well as the two straps on the back, are going to hold our towing mirror to our factory mirror. They're not going to interfere with that factory mirror, so we can still adjust it if we need to. The two straps on the back are ratchet straps, so they'll give a nice, secure fit. They're also coated in a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2003 Nissan Xterra- Video

Today on our 2003 Nissan Xterra we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. It offers a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass or park while towing a trailer. The mirror can be adjusted at any angle, and by simply removing the Phillips head screw at the back we can rotate it to the vertical position. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can still rotate it in. The mirror itself measures 7 and 3/4s of an inch long and 5 and 1/8th of an inch wide. I'm here at the passenger side of my Xterra and to begin our test fit we'll need to first turn our mirror over, and we need to make sure that the tabs here are pulled all the way out. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Review - 2015 Nissan Frontier- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the K-Source Dual View Clip-on Universal Towing Mirrors, part number KS3990. Here's where our towing mirrors are really going to shine. Right now you see me fine in that factory mirror. Even as I move over from behind the truck, I'm still there, but once I start to get further outside, you're going to lose me in that factory mirror and then you'll start to pick me up in that first lens. That gives us our good side-angle so we can really see those parking lots or maybe cars beside us as we're trying to switch lanes, but then we go a step further with the new dual-lens design. We're actually able to come out here and we can really see all the way around us. more
